Lumination Lab

This space serves as a hub for exploration, collaboration, and hands-on learning. It is a dynamic and versatile space designed to inspire and cultivate the next generation of problem solvers and innovators.

It includes a classroom specifically designed for students to immerse themselves into a virtual reality learning environment. We have a range of other resources to be used for learning purposes within this area.

STEM Building

This building stands as a testament to the evolution of educational spaces over the years. Originally part of the school’s foundation, this building has undergone significant transformations to align with modern pedagogical approaches and cater to the diverse needs of students.

This learning space includes breakout rooms, kitchen facilities, office spaces and the storage of our STEM equipment, Lumination, music room and a wet lab.

Aquaculture

The Aquaculture Shed serves as a living classroom, offering students a chance to apply theoretical knowledge in a real-world setting. From understanding water quality parameters to practicing sustainable aquaculture practices, students engage in a comprehensive learning experience. Fish are cultured from fingerlings at approximately 5 grams, to harvest size of 300g. Students maintain water parameters to optimal growth and feeding conditions. When ready they are then harvested within our harvest and processing facility.

Within this facility:

• Breeding tanks specifically designed for the breeding and nurturing of barramundi.
• A filleting space equipped with all the necessary tools and equipment, ensuring a safe and practical learning environment. Students gain hands-on experience in fish processing.

Ovals

Two football ovals used for recess and lunch breaks, school sports and community trainings/events.

Swimming Pool

Our swimming pool is mainly used for R-6 swimming lessons and annual swimming carnivals which happen throughout the warmer months.

Gymnasium

The gym is used primarily as a space for Physical Education lessons. This facility has two recently updated classrooms spaces used by Senior School classes. Presentation nights, whole school assemblies and community events also use this space.
